We invite you to RSUSD Board of Trustees Listening Tours! Join us this Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 6 PM in the Avenal Elementary School Library. RSUSD Board Members will be in attendance to listen to your concerns regarding our schools. The goal of Listening Tours is to work together to create more effective environments for our students, staff and communities.

RSUSD will be offering a summer program for students in TK-8th grade. The program will be held in two phases #1 June 12 - 29 Monday - Thursday phase #2 July 17-27 Monday - Thursday. The program will be offered from 7:45 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. Please register your student in the program by filling out the form below before Friday, June 2nd. Congratulations to our tigers who scored proficient or higher on last year’s ELA and/or Math exams.

We are so proud of our students that competed on this year’s Spelling Bee at District and County level! Our students represented the district well! In the county Spelling Bee, of our 16 students that competed, we had our 6th grade student Jacob Aguilera (from KCES) place 2nd and our 1st grade student Adelaiza Gamboa (from AES) place 3rd. Student Juan Ayala (3rd grade/AES) placed 5th. Other students placed from 7th through 18th. Congratulations to all! We are extremely proud of you!

Spring Break is Monday, April 3, 2023 through Monday, April 10, 2023. School will resume Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Have a wonderful spring break!

Tamarack Elementary School - Open House will be on Tuesday, March 28th. Family Art Night from 5:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Parents can meet with child's teacher in the classroom from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. We hope to see you there!

Tamarack Elementary School is currently registering children for Tk and Kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year. Please bring the following documents: immunization record, birth certificate or passport, proof of residence and photo ID.
